Targman Privacy Policy

Targman is a vocabulary-learning app. We have designed it to require no data collection of any kind.
What Targman does NOT do
- Targman does not create accounts.
- Targman does not require login.
- Targman does not transmit any user data to our servers or third parties.
- Targman does not include analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Targman does not include advertising.
- Targman does not access your contacts, photos, calendar, or location.
What Targman does
- Targman uses your iPhone's camera to recognize text. This processing happens entirely on your device. Camera frames are not stored or transmitted.
- Targman uses Apple's Translation framework to translate words. This processing happens entirely on your device. Words and translations are not transmitted to our servers.
- Targman uses Apple's Vision and NaturalLanguage frameworks for text recognition and lemmatization. These run entirely on your device.
- Targman stores your saved flashcards, review history, and settings locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your phone unless you back it up through iCloud (which is your iCloud, not ours).
Third parties
- Targman uses no third-party services for processing your data.
- iOS may report standard crash reports to Apple if you have enabled crash reporting in iOS Settings. We do not have access to these reports unless we have specifically configured TestFlight or App Store Connect to receive them.
Children
- Targman is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages.
- Because Targman does not collect any personal data, it complies with COPPA, GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations by default.
