Resumable Terms of Use
Last Updated: October 11, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to Resumable (listed on the App Store as Resumable Recorder), a voice memo app published by MicroComp LLC (“MicroComp,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using Resumable, you agree to these terms.
1. License
Resumable is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA controls.
2. Purchase and refunds
- Resumable is a paid app sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes all payments.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. MicroComp cannot issue refunds directly.
- Family Sharing and use on your devices are governed by Apple’s App Store terms.
3. Recording other people
You are responsible for using Resumable lawfully. Laws about recording conversations vary by location. Some places, including California, require the consent of everyone being recorded. Get any consent the law requires before you record someone, and don’t use Resumable to record anyone in violation of the law.
4. Your recordings and transcripts
- You own your recordings, transcripts, bookmarks, and notes. We claim no rights to them.
- Your content is stored only on your iPhone. We have no copy and no access, so we cannot recover lost or deleted content for you.
- Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone. Keep your own backups of anything important.
5. Transcripts
Transcripts are created on your device by Apple’s speech recognition and may contain errors, missing words, or misattributed speech. Review any transcript before you rely on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, or other important matters.
6. Recording reliability
Resumable is designed to protect recordings in progress and to recover audio after an interruption. No app can guarantee a recording under every condition, such as a full device, a hardware fault, or an operating system interruption. Don’t rely on Resumable as the only record of something you can’t afford to lose.
7. Acceptable use
- Use Resumable only for lawful purposes.
- Don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resumable is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MicroComp LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, recordings, or transcripts, arising from your use of Resumable. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and MicroComp LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Resumable or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use Resumable after an update means you accept the revised terms.
